M97 - The Owl Nebula

This image was taken on Feb 21,1999 with a Meade 1616 camera on a 12" LX200

at the Newton Observatory in Chiefland Florida by myself and Doug George.  

It is a tri-colour combination of a 5 min red, 10 min green and 10 min blue exposure.
